What is the best part of the job?

It starts when I show up and ends when I leave.

Why do you think people should go on a rafting trip?

Because we all need the experience of adventure in our lives and the Ocoee River is a beautiful outdoor setting to satisfy that need.

What is a fun fact about you?

I like to play handpans.

Why would I want you as a guide?

I don’t know if you would or not but I guarantee you will get wet or your money back.

How long and Why/How did you start working at Ocoee Inn Rafting?

I started rafting on the Ocoee in 1995, the year after I graduated high school because a friend of mine named David Matthews asked me if I would like to try it.

What do you love about Ocoee Inn Rafting?

It feels like family there and I have the coolest boss and manager on the river.

What makes you unique as a guide and why would I request you?

I like to try to make sure that my guests get the kind of experience they are looking for. I also like to be safe.

Totally opposite. I work indoors, currently at a plant that makes Coppertone Sunscreen.
